- A shop, a home gym, a hobby room, the storage room off the garage. You stand in these, so the finish gets picked for how it feels underfoot, not only for what it survives.
Patio coating
- What it takes
- Sun most of the year, rain, and furniture dragged across it.
- What makes it different
- There is no vapor barrier under an exterior slab, so ground moisture never stops pushing up against the coating. That picks the system out here, and it is why exterior work carries the shorter term.
Pool deck coating

- Wet feet, bare skin, chlorine, and full sun on the surface.
- What makes it different
- Grip and surface temperature decide this one, not the look. Which finish gets you there is read off the slab itself, on the walk.
Driveway coating

- Hot tires off the road, sun all day, and the heaviest thing you own parked on it.
- What makes it different
- Weight and full sun at the same time, which is what rules a plain epoxy top out here. The polyaspartic clear coat holds its color where epoxy ambers.

Quartz
A harder, coarser broadcast than flake. It is the one to pick where a floor takes standing water or hard wheels running the same line day after day, like a laundry room, a mudroom or a working shop.
Metallic
Pigment poured and worked while it cures, so the floor comes out with a marbled movement and no two are ever the same. It goes down in a garage as readily as in a home office. The difference is that you pick it for how it looks.

The slab we start from
How old it is, what has been spilled on it, whether something is already coated on top, and whether it cracks or moves. You cannot see any of that in a photo of a finished floor.
The prep it needs
Grinding is not one setting. How far we open the slab depends on the system and on what the concrete is doing, and whatever sits down in the pores has to come out first.
The system you pick
Flake, quartz and metallic are not interchangeable, and outside there is only one of the three that belongs there. The space usually picks it for you.
The timing you need
Inside we work year round, so your date decides the start. The day count comes off the size of the slab and the state of it, and everything on that slab has to be off it before we grind.

Interior flake and quartz floors carry the 10-Year Limited Workmanship Warranty. Everything else, including all exterior work, carries the one-year workmanship warranty.*
*Terms and conditions apply, and our share of a repair steps down over the ten years. You get the full warranty in writing before you sign.

Garages, the rooms behind them, patios, pool decks and driveways. Inside we work year round. Outside the weather decides the window, and exterior work carries the one-year term rather than the ten.
The flake system goes both ways, but what protects it is the polyaspartic clear coat over the top, and that is the part that matters outside. Epoxy on its own ambers in the sun. Metallic stays indoors.
Both, in the same floor. The coat that bonds to the concrete is epoxy, and the clear coat that takes the traffic on top of it is polyaspartic. Almost everybody searches for epoxy, so that is the word we use, but the layer you actually walk on is the polyaspartic one.
Mostly you don't, the space does. Tell us what happens in the room and what has already been spilled on the slab, and we'll tell you which of the three belongs there and why. Then it goes in writing before anything starts.
